One of the worse neo-Nazi terrorists attacks the world had ever seen was the 1999 London Nail Bombing, where David James Copeland, did 3 separate bombings in the month of April.
David Copeland was a neurotic neo-Nazi, who was known to be an angry heavy metal fan when he was younger. During his teen he state that he started having S&M themed dreams, in which he was an SS officer with access to women slaves. His condition only got worse when he left school, and entered the job market early, only to fail. His condition only got worse with petty crime and substance abuse. He did manage to get a job as an assistant at the London Underground.
When Copeland was 21, he joined a nationalist group, known as British National Party, in May 1997, only to leave a year later, after they didn’t back his militant ideology. He joined the National Socialist Movement since they followed this militant ideology. After that Copeland went insane. Reading violent material had pushed David to do the nail bombing, killing 4 people, and injuring 140. He was later arrested and sentenced to six life sentences.
While Copeland is at fault for his own crimes, it was ultimately literature and ideologies that were built by others that inspired David Copeland to commit his horrendous crime. Maybe the inspiration that made him do this was created like that to take advantage of people in fragile mental condition like Copeland was in. Maybe the literature and ideology that pushed Copeland to do such a thing was designed that way.
