Adolf to Azov

Tryzub literally translates to trident. It was another right winged movement that was started to protect a political party known as Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists. It was founded in 1994, by the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists.

It wasn’t as violent or as rowdy as UNA-UNSO but was much more influential politically. Tryzub was also much more outspoken about their own antisemitic views. The Jews were definitely a target for them, but Tryzub never pursued them, to the extent they said they would. Somehow one of their biggest principles changed, as a nazi organization.

In 2013 Tryzub was absorbed into the creation of Right Sector.
