Svoboda is a political party in Ukraine, which is very fanatical. It was set up in 1994, and brands itself with neo-Nazi symbolism. It was even derived from another smaller known as Social-National Party of Ukraine. The party never had much luck in politics but still was active in promoting their own neo-Nazi cause.

Interestingly enough, even though Svoboda has been linked to neo-Nazism and antisemitism, after the Euromaidan riots, Svoboda seems to change their views towards Jews, but not their neo-Nazi themed marketing.

In 2014 Andrew Srulevitch, director of European Affairs for the Anti-Defamation League, an international group based in the U.S. that monitors anti-Semites and other political extremists, said: “Svoboda has been disciplined in its messaging regarding Jews since the Maidan demonstrations started in November, but they have a history of anti-Semitic statements to overcome, and a clear political program of ethnic nationalism that makes Jews nervous.”

After Azov and Right Sector were formed Svoboda started to lose influence. Svoboda is a very interesting party, since it shows how something anti-Semitic was flipped, in order to promote a Jewish cause, with their support of the EU in Ukraine. The Jews would employ the same techniques on many other anti-Semitic groups, to get them to fight for their kosher causes.
