In ancient Rome, it was figured out that the best way to control people, like slaves, was to control their diet. They realized that bread made people lethargic, and would normally feed it to slaves, so they would be less likely to rebel. This worked so well that later on, bread was promoted to the whole lower class. The upper class in the Roman era understood that protein was key to maintaining strength and mental sharpness.
Fast forward to the modern era, the American government wanted to do the same thing to its people. They realized that different foods would make people weaker, these included sugars, engine oils, and other chemicals. Slowly these products ended up in our food supply. Later on, after World War Two, these unhealthy foods were considered healthy. After more people in America started consuming these, more and more Americans became unhealthy. Not only were they becoming obese, but they were also becoming more stupid and easier to control.
In 1992 the food pyramid was released to the American public, in an effort to explain to them how they should eat healthy. It was just a copy of the slave’s diet from the Roman era, with a focus on consumption of grain, while limiting healthy foods like proteins. Barack Obama’s husband also spent time promoting dietary guidelines, which were low protein, during his time as the first husband.
Now there is a big venture capitalist effort to push fake meats and other unhealthy forms of protein for multiple different reasons, ranging from veganism to cow fart causing global warming.
Thankfully many Americans have caught on to this, and have switch over to the carnivore diet, and are now living happier and healthier lives.
