After World War Two a new nation would be born, in Palestine, known as Israel. However, how the state of Israel. Many people attribute Israel to being needed because of the Holocaust or because of some religious text, but none of these make sense. Many groups had different size territories over history, and the Jews are not different none the less. While the Jews were also nomadic since they are derived from Neanderthals, they lived in many different places. Their religion was founded and goes back to ancient Alexandria. For some reason they say Israel is their homeland. They lay a claim that they also need this land because of the Holocaust, but who believes that.

Another big event before World War Two which impacted the foundation of Israel was the Balfour Declaration. This was an agreement signed in 1917, to get the Jews to help the British in World War One. The Jews offered to throw the American population at a war in Europe, in exchange the British would need to give up a part of British occupied Palestine to the Jews.

After World War Two many Jews emigrated to the new area of Israel. They even left the Soviet Union where they were starting to be persecuted as well. But Palestine wasn’t empty. It was full of both Christian and Muslim Palestinian people. In 1947 the UN divided up the land in Palestine between and Israel. They gave two thirds of the land to the Jews and only about a third remained for the Palestinians who were two thirds of the population there. To take the majority of the land needed to start Israel, another event would unfold, known as the Nakba.

The Nakba was a time during the 1947-49 war where Israeli displaced Palestinian from their homes using terror. This is when Israel was beginning to take shape for what it really was to become. Many countries before having used war to conquer land, but Israel was going to take it to a whole new level. Not only was Israel going to take on the Palestinian army, but they were also trying to eradicate civilians from their lands as well. This is where Israel either destroyed or depopulate villages of native Palestinians in an effort to take their land. They used terror tactic including poisoning well to get rid of the Palestinians.
