Yom Kippur War

During the Yom Kippur War, Israel saw the most fighting it seen since the Six-day War, nearly six years earlier. Many Israelis dislike how Golda Meir handle the situation, since she called off a preventive strike, while the Arab armies were forming. In the matter of a few weeks the Israeli managed to overcome their enemies.

Another thing Israel during these intense weeks was prepare 13 nuclear warheads, for their air force. Not much is known about them, but they were most likely set up to be dropped by F-15i. After the war these weapons were left on standby mode, and Israel knew how valuable they were, so they upped their nuclear production following this conflict, as a deterrent.
