The National Renaissance Party was founded which in 1949 by Kurt Mertig. Kurt Mertig originally formed NRP as a replacement for the American Bunds, back in 1949, when the Bunds was outlawed. Since Kurt Mertig was unable to lead NRP, he handed over control of NRP to Madole. Madole was good friends with Aton LaVey, who founded the Church of Satan. LaVey was influential in the spiritual practices Madole.

Another famous member of NRP, was Dan Burros, who in the 1960’s ran the “elite Security Echelon” of NRP. Burros was also an undercover Jewish agent, with a history of infiltrating and spying on groups like the Klu Klux Klan and the Odinist.

The National Renaissance Party was the first neo-Nazi group, that had ties to Satanic Occultism. German fascist and Satanism were in confrontation with each other. Now an outside group found a way to brand the two ideologies together. These types of belief system would be repeated multiple times in groups like the Order of Nine Saints, Combat 18, Black Order, Atom Waffen, Blood Tribe, and Azov.
