Frank Collin, born as Frank Cohen, was born and raised in Chicago from of Jewish family, of supposed Holocaust survivors. Later he would take over the American Nazi Movement from George Lincoln Rockwell.

During his time as a Nazi, he denied having any Jewish roots. However, he did have money, and he did spend it on the movement, buying a building known as Rockwell Hall, which his movement organized out of. Under his control, the party became more violent, with a focus on attacking colored protest and people on campuses. This was the beginning of the violence we see modern Neo-Nazis focus on. 

The interesting part was he was a Jew, in the Nazi movement. This was always brought up against him, by rival Nazi leaders, but he always kept denying it. The truth would come out, in 1979, when a fellow party member found a picture of Frank Cohen, with a little boy. Frank Cohen was arrested and sentenced to 3 years in jail.
