The next step into Operation Eagle Flight was to create a new version of Germany in Argentina. This new place that they were building was something that would need to be able to house and take care of many high-ranking Germans. Martin Borman literally had to make a new Germany, for 30,000 Germans. This new home for all these German was in San Carlos de Bariloche which is located in Patagonia. The architecture, culture, and even the local language was all Germanic.
The Germans also needed a place to act as their military and logistic center, for Operation Eagle flight. This would be a fortress known as Alco that was built in the mountains of Patagonia and was disguised as a mansion, but it was the command center for operation Eagle Flight. This building had many secret rooms and escape tunnels. It was also equipped with a powerful radio communication system, and bunkers. It ever had a tunnel leading to a waterfront, where the Germans would operate sea planes, so that even from the mountains they could run logistics and transportation with U-boats operating in the ocean.
There was also another place that was bought by the Germans known as Villa Winter in the Canary Islands. This place had a high-power Radio System which relayed between Berlin and Benu Aires. It had an airfield and a harbor for U-boats as well. This would act as a midpoint for communications and in the escape as well.
